Subject: The great Astrologer;
William Lilly (1602 -1681 AD.) was the Fore most astrologer of the 11th century England. His--treaties on horary astrology called Christian Astrology is a masterpiece. He is most famous for predicting the Great Fire of London in September 1666. The Great Fire of London was a major conflagration that ravaged through the central parts of London, from Sunday, 2 September to Wednesday, 5 September 1666. The fire gutted the part of City of London inside the old Roman City Wall. It threatened, but did not damage, the aristocratic locality ofWestminster (the modern West End), and Charles II's Palace of Whitehall. It destroyed 13,200 houses, 87 parish churches, St. Paul's Cathedral, and most of the buildings of the City authorities. It is estimated that it destroyed the homes of70,000 of the City's 80,000 inhabitants.
